  • The accident occurred around 11:25 p.m. on Midway Road in Raymond, Mississippi.
  • According to Interim Hinds County Coroner Jeremiah Howard, Woodall lost control of his ATV and overturned.
  • Another individual riding with him also lost control but sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital by ambulance.

Tougaloo Athletics released a statement describing Woodall’s death as "a tremendous loss" for the university community.
