Purdue has added another transfer to its secondary, with former Central Arkansas cornerback TD Williams committing to the Boilermakers. Williams is the 12th defensive back to join the program this off-season and brings significant experience and production to West Lafayette.

Defensive Rebuild
The addition of Williams enhances Charles Clark’s unit in West Lafayette, which has undergone a complete rebuild this off-season. The Boilermakers have lost several key players from last year’s team and are actively seeking new contributors on defense.
While Purdue has been active in recruiting transfers this off-season, it remains unclear how many more additions they will make before fall camp begins later this month. However, with Williams on board, along with other recent additions such as former Georgia Tech safety Jalen Alexander and former Iowa State safety Deonte Burton Jr., Clark’s unit appears to be taking shape.
