Arrests Made in Murder of Telemundo Sports Reporter Adan Manzano

Louisiana police have arrested a third suspect in the murder of Adan Manzano, a 27-year-old Telemundo sports reporter found dead in his hotel room at the Comfort Suites in Kenner, Louisiana.

Background

Manzano was covering Super Bowl LIX for Telemundo when he died on February 5. The coroner determined that he died from a combination of Xanax and alcohol. He was discovered face-down on a pillow with no lividity around his nose and mouth.

Suspects

  • Danette Colbert and Ricky White were arrested earlier this month for their alleged roles in Manzano’s death.

    • Colbert is known online as the "Bourbon Street hustler" due to her tactics of targeting men on Frenchmen St., often using dating apps like Tinder or Bumble before stealing their money.
  • Christian Anderson has also been arrested for principal to simple robbery among other charges related to Manzano’s death. Anderson is currently being held without bail.

Investigation Insights

  • Authorities believe there may be additional victims, as some individuals do not report these types of crimes due to their sensitive nature.

Manzano was based out of Kansas City, Missouri, and had traveled to New Orleans for work when he died.
