The University of Wisconsin athletic department has announced its latest group of inductees into the UW Athletic Hall of Fame. The 2025 class includes notable figures such as Frank Kaminsky, James White, and broadcaster Matt Lepay. They will be formally inducted during Hall of Fame weekend on September 5-6.
Inductee Highlights

Frank Kaminsky: A standout player from 2011-2015, Kaminsky is recognized for his two All-American selections and being named Big Ten Player of the Year in his senior season.

James White: A key contributor to the Badgers’ football team from 2009-2012, White went on to have a successful eight-season career with the New England Patriots, winning three Super Bowls.

Matt Lepay: A broadcaster for Wisconsin since 1998, Lepay has become synonymous with Badger football broadcasts over nearly three decades.
Induction Ceremony Details
The induction ceremony will take place at Camp Randall Stadium during halftime of the game between Middle Tennessee State and Wisconsin on September 6. In addition to the formal ceremony, Kaminsky, White, and Lepay will be recognized during the game as part of an expanded celebration honoring all members enshrined in the hall since its inception in 1983.
Chris McIntosh, UW’s athletic director, expressed excitement about the event:
"It’s a tremendous honor to welcome these individuals into our hall. They are truly deserving of this honor, and we’re excited to recognize their contributions to Badger athletics."
