Vitale’s Cancer Journey
- Initial Diagnosis: Vitale’s battle with cancer began in 2021 with a diagnosis of melanoma. He underwent surgery to remove the melanoma that summer.
- Lymphoma Treatment: Later in 2021, he received treatment for lymphoma.
- Vocal Cord Issues: In addition to these diagnoses, Vitale faced precancerous dysplasia and ulcerous lesions on his vocal cords. His vocal cords were affected again in July 2023 when he was diagnosed with cancer for the second time that year.
- Recent Setback: Just two months prior to his latest diagnosis, a biopsy of a lymph node in his neck revealed the presence of cancer cells.
Current Status
Despite the recent challenges, Vitale is now considered cancer-free according to his medical team’s assessment of his current scans and bloodwork.
