The blaze prompted a significant response from local authorities. A spokesperson for Windsor Fire and Rescue Services stated, “We are working diligently to contain the fire,” though no further details were provided.
As firefighters battled the flames, nearby traffic was affected:
- Kildare Road between Shepherd Street East and Seneca Street was blocked off to traffic as of 5:50 p.m.
- This caused disruptions for drivers in the area.
Emergency responders worked quickly to bring the situation under control.
