Oregon men’s basketball player Nate Bittle will spend one more season with the Ducks after withdrawing from NBA draft consideration. Bittle has one year of NCAA eligibility remaining due to injury and illness.
According to Chris Pietsch Patti, an OregonLive.com sports columnist, replacing Bittle would have been a significant challenge:
"Replacing him would have been a tall order, both figuratively and literally."
With Bittle back in the lineup alongside Jackson Shelstad and Kwame Evans, Oregon is expected to be a top team in the Big Ten Conference next season.
