The Savannah Bananas drew a large crowd to Bank of America Stadium, home of the Carolina Panthers, for their first of two sell-out games. The stadium was packed with 74,000 fans eager to see the team in action.

Before the game began, team creator and owner Jesse Cole addressed the crowd. In his speech, Cole reflected on his journey since starting his company in Gastonia 18 years ago, reminiscing about how far he had come.
