Savannah Bananas Draw Large Crowd at Bank of America Stadium

The Savannah Bananas drew a large crowd to Bank of America Stadium, home of the Carolina Panthers, for their first of two sell-out games. The stadium was packed with 74,000 fans eager to see the team in action.

Jesse Cole’s Address

Before the game began, team creator and owner Jesse Cole addressed the crowd. In his speech, Cole reflected on his journey since starting his company in Gastonia 18 years ago, reminiscing about how far he had come.

Cole’s vision for baseball has always been centered around creating a ‘fans-first’ experience. He believes that baseball can be fun to watch again if done right. This philosophy has driven him to build a unique brand that resonates with fans.

Gratitude to Fans

Cole expressed gratitude towards fans for making this event possible by attending one of their biggest Banana Ball weekends ever. With over 148,000 total attendees across both nights, it’s clear that the Savannah Bananas have built a loyal following.

Jesse Cole quoted himself saying: "He recalled dreaming big for baseball…and making baseball fun to watch again."
