A 21-year-old man from Seattle has been charged with four counts of residential burglary and one count of robbery in the first degree, according to court documents.
Arrest Details
Earl Henderson Riley IV was arrested on July 25 after an investigation involving multiple police jurisdictions began in early 2025. He is currently being held at King County Jail on $1 million bail.
Allegations
Prosecutors allege that Riley burglarized the homes of several professional athletes, including:
- Blake Snell – Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher
- Julio Rodriguez – Seattle Mariners center fielder
- Richard Sherman – Former Seattle Seahawks cornerback
Additionally, the charges include a count of robbery in the first degree for allegedly stealing a safe from Luis Castillo’s home.

The investigation remains ongoing, and prosecutors have indicated that charges may be filed against other defendants. They are actively working to identify all individuals involved in the alleged burglary ring.
