Paige Bueckers, the standout star guard for the University of Connecticut, has been selected by the Dallas Wings in the recent WNBA draft. She is now part of a new campaign by Coach, a luxury handbag brand.
Campaign Details
Bueckers will be joined in the campaign by other WNBA players, including:
- Sonia Citron and Kiki Iriafen of the Washington Mystics
- Aneesah Morrow of the Connecticut Sun
- Hailey Van Lith of the Chicago Sky
This campaign is part of Coach’s partnership with the WNBA, following a multiyear collaboration signed earlier this year to become the official luxury handbag sponsor. As part of this deal, they will participate in several high-profile events this season.
Visuals and Themes
Coach has released images from their latest campaign featuring five draftees from last month’s event. The photos were taken at Jersey City Armory by Heather Hazza and directed by Vivian Kim.
In one film clip from the campaign, Paige Bueckers discusses how fashion helps her express herself as both an athlete and a person. She states, "I love expressing myself through fashion because it makes me feel more confident."
The new images not only showcase style but also highlight the confidence of these young athletes as they embark on their careers after being drafted into professional teams last month.
